Appointment Scheduling
When you make a dental appointment for your child, whether for a checkup, your child is complaining of tooth discomfort, or suffers an injury, you will want a dentist who is reliable and offers flexible appointment options.
At Chicago kiDDS Pediatric Dentistry, we anticipate a long-term relationship with our patients and their families. Therefore, we strive to offer the highest quality dental care and a positive experience for every patient. We have created a nurturing environment that is kid-focused to help remove the fear and anxiety kids often have in regards to visiting the dentist.
At our dental office, we offer convenient hours of operation and emergency dental services. If your child suffers from a dental emergency, such as a sports injury where a tooth may be knocked out, we can see your child on short notice.
We always attempt to schedule appointments at the convenience of the patient. Unfortunately, since our practice is dedicated to the care of children, we often have limited availability after school hours. However, since younger children are typically fresher and more capable during the morning, we do recommend requesting morning appointments when feasible.
School age children with extensive work should try to visit us in the morning for this reason, as well. We realize this may be an inconvenience at some times, however, we do our best to put the needs of the child first in every scenario.
When an appointment interferes with a child’s education, it should be considered an excused absence with a note from our office. We try to avoid disrupting children’s school schedules at all costs, but we also realize that dental health must occasionally take precedence.
Rescheduling
If you have booked an appointment with us and need to reschedule, we ask for 48 hours notice before your scheduled appointment. This is so we have optimal time to offer the appointment to another child in need of care.
Should we not receive 48 hours notice of your cancellation before the appointment, you will be charged a missed appointment fee. We realize that unexpected things can happen, but we ask for your assistance in this regard.
